I walked into @junesallday and immediately knew, this is my kinda place. It’s basically how I imagine my future kitchen to look like. Then they brought me a @stumptowncoffee cappuccino and my life, as I knew it, was over. I was officially in heaven. If the coffee brought us to heaven, the spicy fried chicken brought @austin.hunt.5 back down again. He never even put it down. There was no hesitation or even thought to see if I wanted a bite. 😢 I relished in my orange marmalade that tasted like Spain and we started daydreaming of European adventures. 💭 Speaking of brunch, we’re about to head on an epic road trip. This was my reward for making it through the week. 🙌🏼 And for about 30 seconds it makes the 10 hours of commuting and the 373874 deep breaths to ignore the person riding my tailgate worth it. 🌅 I used to be super zen about traffic and people all up in my @subaru_usa booty while driving but slowly it’s starting to wear me down. In an effort to combat my own road rage I find myself saying out loud “I hope they get where they need to go on time.” The thing that we forget is, people who are idiots in traffic aren’t doing this solely to annoy you, it’s because they’re worried about themselves. Again, it’s not about you. They’re worried they won’t keep to their own schedule. Or make it to a meeting on time. When you step back and realize that it’s not about you, it helps. It doesn’t always solve the frustration, but it helps.
